Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups - ONIWG

"Formed in 1991,  provides leadership and the provincial voice for Ontario’s injured workers" .

This is the provincial head of the support groups of Ontario. They provide support to the local support groups. They also plan provincial campaigns, as well as many other events, which help injured workers on a provincial level.

They do not help injured workers on an individual basis, due to limited resources.

They can provide you with information for a local support group and if you do not have a local support group they can assist you in starting one.

A lot of times support groups struggle to exist even, though they provide an invaluable service to society.
To help support the groups I have created a "Advocates How To Page"
where support groups can learn about business registration as well as funding options available to them.

Ontario Injured Worker Support Groups

Probably important things a person can s provide moral, comfort and informational support to another especially a injured worker.

-

Probably one of the most important things a injured worker/victim of a workplace accident can do for themselves is to seek help when they need it .

#WorkersCompIsARight

This is why I have setup this page for Ontario victims of workplace accidents to allow them to connect with the much needed support groups and to allow the support groups to connect with victims of workplace accidents.
